Who’s the target audience for Edge Code?
Serious web developers. The people who don’t want to use a big application and would rather something very lightweight and very clean. The nice thing about Code is that it also has a hot link into your Chrome browser. So while you’re developing, as you make a change, it shows up directly in your browser. It’s like a live view, directly into Chrome. You can have a page loading in Chrome, and as you change your HTML, CSS or JavaScript it reflects in the browser.
Are these products on sale already or are these available for free?
That’s interesting. All of these products that I have spoken about and some additional products such as Reflow and Inspect totalling to 7 products in all are all available in India for free! The way customers can access them is via the Creative Cloud.
The Creative Cloud is basically a direction that Adobe is heading for serving our software through the cloud and a subscription model. Sometime in the future we’ll have more information on subscription.
