One Moring in August , I saw a spike in downloads of one of our apps (AGASTYA) on appstores.Every second we were getting a couple of downloads. What surprised me further was all of them were coming from smaller towns in Rajasthan.
I immediately got my team to call some of users and figure out how they discovered about the application. We were told that there was a news article published in “Rajasthan Patrika” which was responsible for the crazy downloads. To my surprise they were more excited about the app and called and shared about it to their friends and relatives asking them to download it.
